Imagine you had a bet on a soccer game and it's called off! What happens to your ticket?

In the wake of the abandonment of the Nedbank Cup last 16 clash between Black Leopards and Bidvest Wits with the hosts leading 1-0 at halftime, let's take a look at what happens when a match has to be called off from both an NSL and a betting point of view.
From a PSL perspective, if a match that has already kicked off and is abandoned due to inclement weather or any other natural disaster, it has to be replayed. All records of such match will be expunged except that any dismissals that occurred will remain in force.
If a match is stopped due to something that a human being can somehow have control over, for example, power failure, bomb scare, pitch invasion etc - the match will then resume from where it was suspended. That means all records remain in force. That is to say, if the Leopards v Wits match wasn't called off due to a natural disaster, it would have resumed from halftime with Leopards leading 1-0 and all the other records still in place.
Imagine if matches had to start from scratch for all abandonments! Would teams not come up with ways to stop the game if they are losing? It makes sense, doesn't it?
Now, what happens when the match you had a bet on gets called off? The answer is simple. You have to wait for 36 hours from when the game was abandoned. Should the game resume play within 36 hours, then all bets will stand. If the game does not continue again, then all bets will be null and void. This means that the game will be removed from multiple bets, and the odds adjusted. Or on straight bets, you will receive a refund.
To simplify it, if that match was part of your multiple bets and it doesn't get replayed or resumed, we remove it from your bet slip and only consider the other matches(legs). The odds will then obviously change to account for the abandoned game. If it was the only match you had a bet on, you will be refunded your stake. If the match is replayed or resumes within the 36 hour period, all bets involving it stand.
Where it gets interesting is when the match doesn't get replayed or resumed within 36 hours and you had a bet on other markets which have already occurred eg first 10 minutes draw, or first half result etc. In this instance, if the result for the bet has already been achieved, then your bet will stand.
For example, if you bet on the first goalscorer, 10 min market, first booking, or half-time result; should these markets have already been achieved before the abandonment of the match, the bets will stand, and will be resulted.
