There are a total of nine main classes in Phantasy Star Online 2. As you’re probably aware, each class comes with a unique set of abilities and skills that will go a long way to determining how you play the game. Players will be required to pick an initial class when they create their character but will be able to change it later on in the game by visiting the ARKS Lobby. As you can see, there is pretty much a class for every type of player in Phantasy Star Online 2. Further, since you can easily change up classes whenever you’d like, it’s worth trying out a few different ones to get a feel for the class that suits you. As you level up, you’ll also be able to choose from three different Successor Classes, but these will require you to have at least two of the main classes at Level 75. However, they have some unique abilities that the main classes don’t.

Phantasy Star Online 2 was originally released in Japan in 2012 and then on the Vita in Japan in 2013. At E3 2019, it was announced that Phantasy Star Online 2 would receive a western release after lots of pleading and begging from fans.
